Take It for a Compliment

With a spurious smile on her face, Gloria looked at Kristina. The anger in the latter‘s eves didn‘t daunt
her. “Businesswomen make deals. Don‘t you think?”

Kristina frowned at her.

Two men were standing around the corner. The one at the front turned sideways and saw Gloria‘s
confident gaze at the other woman.

He frowned. Impatience shimmered in his eyes.

The man behind him kept checking the time. In the end, he said in a desperate tone, “Mr. Collins,we‘re
late for the meeting.”

Jordy‘s brows furrowed further.

In the end, he adjusted his tie and went outside without a word.

Gloria raised her eyes, surprised to see the man who was exuding lofty nobility.

What is he doing here?

Kristina followed her gaze to look over.

Gloria looked back at Kristina and said, “Ms. Hayes, are you sure you want to continue our talk here?”

Jordy didn‘t look at her the entire time. After he got out, however, he couldn‘t help but glance at the
woman in the café. She didn‘t even turn her head, which irritated him. He pursed his lips and walked
away..



Kristina observed Gloria‘s expressions before standing up. “Come with me.”

She turned around and headed to the second floor. Gloria trotted to catch up.

After they got into a box, Kristina closed the door.

She looked at Gloria and asked, “What are you trying to say?”

“I know who the stalker is. I have something on him,” Gloria replied in a casual tone. Her message was
clear. As long as Kristina said yes to the deal, Gloria would help her take care of the stalker.

Kristina snorted, “What kind of person he is? Can you deter someone immune to both soft and hard
tactics?”

“I can.” Gloria gave a categorical answer.

Kristina frowned.

Kristina frowned.

Gloria smiled and added, “Corey Hansen is an eccentric man who likes boys, especially those at your
son‘s age. If you don‘t take precautions, something may happen.”

Kristina was expressionless as she gazed at Gloria. “When can you solve the problem?”

“Tonight.”

Kristina‘s sharp eyes glimmered with astonishment, but she soon regained her composure. “If you can
stop him, I‘ll sign the contract with you.”

Gloria smiled. “Deal.”



Kristina was a woman of her word. Gloria didn‘t have to force her to sign it now.

“Wait for my good news. You can take this copy of my proposal.” Kristina took it from her hand.

Gloria curled her lips and added, “To be honest, I‘m confident in sealing the deal with you, but doing
you a favor is more convenient. Besides, this is a just cause. You can find my phone number in the
proposal. Feel free to contact me.”

Kristina gazed at Gloria before replying, “Okay.”

In fact, she was satisfied with the proposal. She was just unwilling to sign the contract at such a cost.
Of course, that was her thought before Gloria adopted special means.

While observing Gloria‘s expressions, she said, “I didn‘t expect an excellent person like you to emerge
in the White Group.”

Truth be told, she had never thought highly of anyone from the White Group or had never worked with
them before.
