Losing His Temper Again

“What‘s up?”

“Jordy, believe me! I didn‘t do it!”

Jordy frowned slightly, “Do you think I will buy your story?”

“You have to believe me! Jordy, I really did not do it!” Angela said in a cracking voice as if she was very
emotionai.

Then, Martha said in an extremely helpless voice, “Jordy, Angela has been insane since that incident.
And she is depressed in silence every day! As long as she can speak, she tries to get in touch with you
because she must explain it to you. Jordy, Angela is kindhearted, so she must not have done such a
thing! You know…”

Hearing this, Jordy run out of patience and interrupted, “Don‘t bother me anymore! My patience is
limited.”

Then, he hung up the phone.

His patience was really limited, and he didn‘t want to watch them act anymore.

Putting down the phone, he thought of Gloria again and even began to imagine how intimate she and
Bryson were now, so his face became extremely gloomy in an instant!

Jordy rubbed his temples irritably and threw himself into work again.

But things were not as simple as he had thought. Since knowing Bryson had gone to Gloria‘s home, he
had felt ill at ease!

So, he dialed Harold‘s number with a frown, and as soon as the latter picked up the phone, he said in a
deep voice, “We will start the meeting ahead of schedule. Ask everyone to get to the conference room
in 20 minutes.”

Harold was stunned, but he didn‘t dare to say anything redundant. After he replied, Jordy hung up the
phone.

Then, Harold had no choice but to inform everyone that the meeting would be held ahead of time, and
people were all confused, wondering why they would have the meeting two days earlier than
scheduled. They hadn‘t finished the preparations yet. What if Mr. Collins got angry?

But no one dared to complain that Mr. Collins didn‘t do things according to the schedule.

Everyone else was worried and curious, but Harold was not surprised. Mr. Collins was terribly angry
now, so he needed something to distract his attention. Therefore, he decided to have the meeting
ahead of time. Harold only felt sorry for those employees.

After Gloria had acted for hours, Bryson finally left her home in the afternoon. In fact, he had wanted to
stay and have dinner with them, but Gloria asked him to go back and have a good rest because he
could not be too tired. After the other two girls echoed her words and asked him not to let them worry
about him, he went back helplessly.

The girls didn‘t breathe a sigh of relief until they saw him get into the car.

Standing downstairs, Jennifer and Nydia didn‘t intend to stay. Nydia looked at Gloria with a smile and
said, “Gloria, I‘m going home. Sleep early. It was a long day today. Have a good rest.”



Gloria nodded, “Okay, I will.”

Jennifer looked at her a little worriedly and said, “Gloria, you‘ve suffered a lot recently. Because of
Bryson, I used to… I‘m sorry. Please forgive me. I will restrain myself in the future. I was indeed going
too far back then.”

On the day Bryson had been hit, Jennifer had said something harsh. Although she had apologized to
Gloria, she still felt very guilty now, thinking she shouldn‘t have been that mean.

Gloria smiled, “I‘ve never blamed you for what you said that day. I should not have behaved like that
either. Jennifer, you did not do anything wrong.”

Hearing this, Jennifer was relieved and nodded gratefully, “Thank you for not blaming me and being
tolerant toward me. I will definitely not be so impulsive or throw temper tantrums at will anymore. You‘re
not to blame for what happened that day.”
