After Ted came in, Gloria didn't give Jordy another glance.She was laughing and joking with Ted and
Nydia.

It was as if Jordy were not there.

Ted sensed something wrong and then looked at Jordy, still smiling kindly.

“Mr.Collins, why are you here today?" The implication was that Jordy was supposed to be busy with his
work.Jordy said flatly, "I'm free today."

No one paid attention to Jordy just now.

Jordy was a cold person.

That meant he might be not going to talk to them.

Nydia sensed the weird atmosphere in the room and felt a little embarrassed.

She paused for a moment and then smiled, “I…I’m going out.”

Gloria nodded at her.

There were only three people left in the room.

Gloria unconsciously looked back at Jordy.She didn't say anything, but the look in her eyes said it all.

“Mr.Maguire, you're having a tough time at the company, aren't you?” Ted’s smile froze on his lips, but

Ted wanted to say it was rude of Jordy to ask such a question, but he bite back the words.

V SA emed not to hear any overtone in his voice and said calmly, “You’re having trouble fulfilling your
old friend’s wishes.Maybe I can help."

After a pause, Ted chuckled, "There's no free lunch.I'm afraid I can't afford it."

Gloria frowned slightly and looked at Jordy.Is he trying to get Mr.

Maguire's support to smooth the path for our cooperation?

Mr.Maguire has got his eye on Jonathan.

Gloria sat on the bed, with no intention of engaging herself in their conversation.

Ted and Jordy exchanged pleasantries.

me an illusion that you want me so badly.”

And his handsome face contorted with anger.

But the next moment, his cold eyes suddenly twinkled with laughter.

Gloria was confused by his reaction.

An illusion? Even Ted was confused.
