Gloria said with carnosiness. It seemed that she really meant il Ted made the offer several times

your business for now and I‘ll keep running the company for you.”

Gloria turned to Ted with an apologetic look and said, “Mr. Maguire, it might harm your interests...”

Ted chuckled and replied, “Never mind. If Claude keeps running the company like this, it may go
bankrupt sooner or later, Gloria, you are just like your father, yet even more capable than him. So I
believe that you‘ll be a good leader and get the company on a better path.”

Gloria’s eyes flashed with some mixed feelings, but she still nodded with seriousness. “Our company
will prosper someday! I promise!”

Ted showed a relieved smiling look. “I believe in you, and so does everyone else.”

Gloria gave him a faint smile.
