Are You Heartless?

His voice was very light almost like a whisper. But… Gloria still heard the mockery in his words.She
sneered and was about to ask him to get out, but Mr.Maguire was here.

If she said that, Jordy would certainly feel embarrassed.

Then he might get back at her in some way.She didn’t want that to happen.

After a pause, she whispered, "I'm sorry I can't agree to cooperate with you.We should avoid suspicion
in consideration of our relationship."

Jordy frowned without saying anything.

Ted felt Gloria’s gaze and immediately understood, “Mr.Collins, Gloria, I came out in a hurry.I just heard
that something had happened to you.You are okay, so I’m relieved.Have a good rest.I'll come to see
you again tomorrow."

Gloria shook her head with a smile, “Mr.Maguire, thank you, but I’m already okay.I'll come back to the
company in a while."

Ted sighed, but he knew that he shouldn’t stay.He nodded with a smile, “Then I’m leaving.See you
again, Mr.Collins.”

Jordy nodded at Ted, and said nothing.

Ted went outside and saw his niece after a few steps.

Nydia immediately came up to him, "Uncle, you came out so soon? So…when is Mr.Collins going to
leave?"



She had been waiting here for a while, but it was her uncle who came out first.

Ted shook his head and frowned slightly, "He's still in there.Go in after Mr.Collins leaves.There's
something wrong with them."

"Ah?" Nydia widened her eyes and said with worry, “Is Mr.Collins going to molest Gloria?"

Ted immediately curled his lip.

He raised his hand and flicked her forehead, "Are you serious?”

Nydia took a step back, covered her painful forehead with one hand, and said with a puzzled look,
"Then what do you mean?"

"The atmosphere between them is weird.Forget it.Don’t go in.Gloria is smart and knows how to deal
with it.Don’t make it worse.See me out.” Nydia was confused.

She looked at Ted with a puzzled look as if saying, you are healthy and know the way back, and you
actually want me to see you out? Seeing her look, Ted laughed and said directly, "You don't want to?”

"Yes, yes..."

Then Ted left with Nydia.

Jordy and Gloria were alone in the ward.

Gloria was puzzled about why Jordy had been staying here.

Did Angela put him through something? So he came to her? She could not guess his feelings, but she
knew that he would not feel guilty.



Anyway, they didn’t love each other.

Even if he misunderstood her, it didn’t matter.

Thinking of this, Gloria smiled gently, “Mr.Collins, Mr.Maguire was here, so I didn't drive you away to
avoid embarrassing you.Can you tell me when will you leave?" Jordy was really angry.

He gripped Gloria's wrist, but he knew that she was injured.So, he didn't pull her, but just held her wrist
tightly.

Gloria immediately frowned and tried to struggle.Jordy said irritably, “I’ve asked you.”
