She couldn’t Help Laughing

“Ah? Then what do you mean by saying hello to her just now?”

Gladys had been friends with Rachel for several years. She was simple and had been protected well by
Rachel these years. At least others dare not to hurt her for the sake of Rachel.

After being friends with Rachel for so long, she was still simple and pure in thought.

She was stubborn but wasn’t a bad person.

Rachel smiled, “I just appreciate her and wanted to have lunch with her.”

“Huh? You appreciate her? So you still want to be friends with her, but you can’t. Why did you invite her
to lunch?”

Rachel said helplessly, “Alright, let’s wander around and go to eat later. What do you want to eat?”

Gladys was confused, “I really don’t understand what’s going on… Can you just tell me what you are
thinking?”

“Nothing. I just want to sound her out. Understand?”

As for Gloria and Nydia, they strolled around the mall and then had lunch in a restaurant.

Gloria’s cell phone rang just after they ordered food.

“Jordy’s grandmother.” Gloria answered the phone after saying this.

Nydia blinked and looked at Gloria without speaking

“Hi, Gloria, did you miss me?”

Karen’s gentle voice came to Gloria’s ear. Gloria thought of her mild and benevolent countenance. She

Nydia covered her mouth and sniggered. They always bickered like this. Although she didn’t see this
very often, she knew it was normal.

However, it always surprised her. Karen still liked Gloria so much.

Karen said in dismay, “How long has it been since you came to see me?”

Gloria’s eyelashes fluttered slightly, “I…”



It was not that she didn’t want to visit her, but that her awkward relationship with Jordy didn’t allow her
to do that.
