Jordy’s Surprise (2)

George followed Jordy carelessly. When he saw Karen, he immediately greeted her warmly, “Hi, Mrs.
Collins.”

Karen then noticed him who was behind Jordy. She quickly nodded at him with a smile, “Oh, you are
also here.”

“Yes, I missed you. So I‘m here to see you.”

But after that, George felt a little embarrassed. He came here with no gifts.

Unconsciously, George looked at Jordy and saw the irony in his eyes and the disdainful smile on his
lips.

George coughed and touched the tip of his nose. It was OK as long as he didn‘t feel embarrassed.

Karen suddenly chuckled. She didn‘t mind that at all, “You should have come earlier, so we could have
had dinner together.”

“It‘s all right. I‘m satisfied to see you. We still have a lot of chances to have dinner together.”

Gloria frowned slightly. She didn‘t care if George was here. She was just upset. Jordy really brought
something back, and there was a monitor in the living room. She was worried that grandma would
release the monitor video clip again. Then everyone would know that Jordy really prepared a surprise
for her.

And grandma had made her attitude very clear. She was going to tweet the monitor video clip.



Before she could say anything, Karen had already looked at Jordy with a smile, “What are you waiting
for? Give Gloria the gift!”

Jordy glanced at Gloria, walked to her and handed her the exquisite gift box.

Gloria frowned. She didn‘t want to touch the gift box at all. Karen went forward and grabbed her arm
and brought it to the box, “Silly girl, open it and see if it‘s a surprise.”

Then she looked at Jordy again and said suspiciously, “Did you prepare it with care?”

Karen wanted to ask Jordy if he prepared it casually. After all, he came back so quickly. She felt it was
weird.

Jordy responded calmly, “Sure, I don‘t dare to disobey you.”

Karen snorted, “Good.”

Gloria was forced to take the gift box, and she still didn‘t want it. Karen smiled at her and said quietly,
“Come on, open it. I want to know what surprise he has prepared for you.”

“Yes, yes, me too!” George didn‘t feel embarrassed. He walked over and said this.

He had been thinking about what this gift was for a long time.

Jordy had walked to the sofa in the living room and sat down. He showed no intention of watching
Gloria open the gift. He took out his mobile phone as if to deal with something while Gloria looked down
at the blue exquisite gift box in her hand with a light frown. Obviously, she was torn, but she had to
listen to Karen.

This gift box was neither heavy nor light.



It was rectangular, about the same size as the shoe box.

It was exquisite with a light blue ribbon tied into a bow.

Blue stripes alternated with white ones. It was neither luxurious nor simple but looked very high–end.

Gloria paused and Karen urged her again. Gloria slowly untied the ribbon on the gift box

Karen and George fixed their eyes on this gift box.
