Chapter 511

A Spark of Anger

Jennifer and Nydia froze and then gave Gloria weird looks. Nydia snorted,"He was here for the project,
I think.He didn't even give you a little peace of mind when you were in a coma!” Gloria’seyes dimmed,
and she said nothing.

Jennifer said uncertainly, "I still think Jordy likes you..."

The corners of Nydia’s mouth twitched.

There must be something wrong with Jennifer’s brain.

Gloria chuckled.She didn’t think so.

Jennifer blurted, "Jordy came in right after you were sent to the hospital, and he looked very worried.He
invited Carlos over to see if you were okay.After Carlos left, Jordy kicked us out and stayed by your
side for six hours…”

Gloria didn’t expect Jordy to be there for her this long.It seemed that he tried so hard to get the project
off the ground.

Jennifer hesitated for a moment and continued, "Angela came to see you, but she walked out of your
room soon after.I guess Jordy drove her out.Several minutes later, Jordy came out.Jordy’s father came
to see you too.They were already gone, but when Jordy found out Angela was coming into your room
again, he stopped her and drove her away.”

“Really?” Nydia was surprised.

Jennifer nodded.



Gloria’s eyes flickered.

Jordy believes part of my story, right? Otherwise, he would not be wary of Angela.

Jennifer pursed her lips and said, "He was being weird and seemed to have a mix of emotions.I think
he likes you, Gloria."

Nydia suddenly felt like Jennifer had a point.

Gloria looked calm.

“Okay, I get it.” Nydia looked at her, confused.

"What? What do you think Jordy's purpose is?" Gloria frowned slightly as if she couldn’t figure it out.

Jordy didn’t mention a single word about the project.He could have brought it up or said something
unkind.

Maybe it wasn’t about the project.

“I don’t know.Forget it.Grandma and Mr.Collins won’t let him hurt me.” Nydia nodded.

“You’re right.Now take aim at your cousin's family!"

"Mmm," Gloria responded and said no more.

Jennifer said, “You haven’t eaten all day.Have some porridge.It'll give you some energy."

Gloria smiled, "Okay."

Jordy strode out of the hospital with a livid face.



When he got back to his car, he called Harold.

"How are things going with Jonathan?" Harold replied, "It's an hour before they get off the plane.”

“Is there a news blackout?” Jordy’s voice was cold.

“Yes, sir,” Harold responded.

Jordy's tone of voice showed that he was in a bad mood.

Maybe Miss White woke up and gave Mr.Collins that attitude.

Mr.Collins looked after Miss White for so long, but she wasn’t nice to him after she was awake.

Mr.Collins is bad-tempered.

Sparks must have flown between them…
